A public forum to be held this evening will address crime in Greenville. City officials are holding a public forum tonight for people fed up with the armed robberies, arson and assaults plaguing the city. While arrests have been made in many of the cases, city officials say they will work to address the root causes of crime, with the help of the University of Mississippi’s Criminal Justice Department. They have also appealed for help from federal agencies. Today’s anti-crime forum starts at 5:30 at the William Alexander Percy library.
