Former Ole Miss Coach Goes Pro

PHOENIX, AZ (Ben Caxton) — Former Ole Miss head coach Hugh Freeze has a new job. He has been named offensive coordinator of the Arizona Hotshots in the Alliance of American Football. Freeze was head coach at Ole Miss for five seasons and led the Rebels to a 39-and-25 record and four bowl games before resigning in 2017 when a call to an escort service was discovered in the records of his school-issued phone. The newly-formed AAF league will kick off in February and includes the Memphis Express, who will play home games at the Liberty Bowl.
