Former airport director returns

Chicot Memorial

Former Mid-Delta Regional Airport Director Lane Rodgers has returned, to serve in that position again in an interim capacity. He was Airport Director from 2006 to 2012 and was succeeded by Draylan Gant, who resigned recently. The City Council hired Rodgers back on a short-term basis because he already knows all the procedures. His return comes during a time of change for the airport, which will be losing Silver Airways and gaining another airline, which will fly to Memphis instead of Atlanta.
