Fatal Traffic Accident in Greenville Tuesday

GREENVILLE, MS (Ben Caxton) — One man is dead following a crash involving an 18-wheel grain truck and a classic automobile yesterday morning in Greenville. Witnesses said the truck ran a red light at Highway 82 and Fairview and struck a 1954 Ford Crown Victoria, ejecting the driver. The semi truck then crashed into a building that housed several stores. The truck driver is hospitalized, but no one inside the businesses was injured. The driver of the Crown Victoria, identified as 72-year-old Robert Coleman was transported to Delta Regional Medical Center where he died from his injuries.
