Farmer Finds Missing Man’s Body In Burned Out Vehicle

TUPELO, MS (Ben Caxton) — Human remains found in a burned SUV in northeast Mississippi have been identified as those of a man who had been reported missing. DNA testing was done at the state Crime Lab confirmed that the remains were those of 33-year-old Jay Hill, the son of a Corinth alderman. The younger Hill, known as “Mac,” had been living in the Tupelo area and was reported missing in early August. On August 18th a farmer looking for a lost cow discovered a burned Lincoln Navigator with human remains inside.
