Facade grants to help Cleveland businesses improve storefront appearance (Cleveland, MS) — Cleveland businesses have two weeks to apply for money made available to them for repairs to improve their outward appearance. Team Cleveland Main Street is offering the funds as an incentive program. 500- Dollars per business in matching funds will be awarded from the 26- hundred raised for the program through the Cleveland Bites Food Festival. The façade grant program is available to any Team Cleveland member and not specific to downtown businesses. Lisa Cooley, Team Cleveland and Main Street manager for the Cleveland Bolivar County Chamber of Commerce stresses that these grants are important as it can be very expensive for businesses to make these types of repairs and usually are out of pocket. Applications are due by January 15
