Entergy Sunflower County Solar Farm Awaiting Approval

SUNFLOWER COUNTY, MS (Ben Caxton) — Entergy Mississippi has announced plans to build a 1000-acre solar energy farm in Sunflower County. Once approved by the state Public Service Commission the $138 million facility will generate power for 16,000 homes and is expected to begin operating in 2022.
