East Sunflower School Hosts "330" Parade

SUNFLOWER, MS (Ben Caxton) — A parade for was held in Sunflower Monday in support of the local grade school’s `330 Campaign` to improve student test scores. Parents organized the event in support of Sunflower Elementary School, it’s staff and students. The `330 Campaign` is an effort to encourage and motivate students, faculty, staff and the community toward the school’s goal of reaching a score of 330 on state tests to be held soon. The score would raise the school’s rating from a `D` in the 2015-2016 schoolyear to a `C` for this year. The school’s mission statement for the upcoming test is “We can, we will score 330!”
