DSU Raises Tuition after Budget Cuts

(Cleveland, MS)- Delta State University wasn’t going to raise tuition next fall, but due to state budget cuts, President Bill LaForge says they will have to. College Board trustees gave preliminary approval Nov. 17 to the 3,600 student university’s plan to raise the price or two full-time semesters of tuition and fees from $6,418 to $6,733. Trustees are scheduled to vote on final approval later.
