DSU President recovering from head injury

Delta State University President William LaForge is recuperating after suffering a head injury during a beach vacation in South Carolina. He experienced a subdural hematoma, which is a gathering of blood on the brain’s surface. He will take a few weeks of medical leave and says he looks forward to returning to the campus. LaForge became Delta State’s president in April.
