Drew County Man Sentenced to 55 Years Behind Bars

DREW COUNTY, AR (Ben Caxton) — A Drew County man has been sentenced to 55 years behind bars. 39-year-old Jeremy Husky was convicted by a Drew County jury Tuesday in the death of 67-year-old George Flowers, of Monticello. Flowers died of complications from blunt force physical trauma on August 13, 2017, less than a month after Huskey attacked Flowers at his home. The jury sentenced Husky to 35 years in prison on a charge of aggravated residential burglary and 20 more years on a guilty verdict of manslaughter. The judge ordered the sentences to be served consecutively.
