Dozens of Washington County students trying again on state tests

ddn-logo-21

Dozens of Washington County students are retaking state tests that will determine whether they can graduate. The State Department of Education is offering students who failed subject area tests a chance to re-take them. The stipulation is that they must pay a 250 dollar fee, they must meet all other graduation requirements and they must be missing a passing grade in only one subject area. The subjects include Algebra, Biology, English and U.S. History. The retesting is being held at Mississippi State University, and the tests will be scored prior to the students’ scheduled graduation.
