Districts sign on to school funding lawsuit

More school districts statewide have signed on to the lawsuit against the state education department which accuses it of not funding local districts to the level that is required under the Mississippi Adequate Education Program. Jackson Public Schools have joined, which now replaces Greenville as the largest district in the suit. The lawsuit seeks millions in future funding and back funding.
