Chicot Memorial

Just last week Mississippi State University went on lock down after a shooter was reported on campus. The university says they have hosted several active shooter training classes on campus and all officers go through an active training certification every 16 to 18 months. They say they also take advantage of resources available through the Cleveland Police Department and the Bolivar County Sheriff’s Department. If necessary they are prepared to send out text messages and use Facebook, Twitter and e-mail to get the word out in the event of situation.
