Course Arrested and Charged with Greenwood Murder

GREENWOOD, MS (Ben Caxton) — The second man involved in a deadly firefight at a Greenwood apartment complex last week has been arrested and charged with murder. 25-year-old Tyler Alexander Course was in the hospital being treated for a gunshot wound to the face about the same time Greenwood police were discovering the body of 25-year-old Kentrez Duncan in the early morning hours of January 12 at the Curtis-Moore Apartments on Martin Luther King Drive. When questioned by police Course refused to cooperate and name the person who had shot him, or say if he had been involved in the incident which left bullet holes in vehicles parked at the apartments, and two handguns and multiple shell casings in the parking lot.
