Costco Is Coming To Ridgeland

RIDGELAND, MS (Ben Caxton) — A circuit court judges’s ruling on Friday has cleared the way for a new Costco store in Ridgeland. The city had rezoned the land to allow for the store’s construction. But the project was held up as nearby landowners sued the city challenging the change to allow commercial use. The Costco construction is part of a development that will see other retailers in Renaissance Plaza. The City of Ridgeland said through its mayor, Gene McGhee, that Costco should be ready to open its doors for Mississippi shoppers early in 2018.
