The Bolivar County Sheriff’s Department says it will be aggressive about stopping contraband at the regional correctional facility, after a bust this week uncovered a number of banned items, such as cell phones, small amounts of tobacco and marijuana, tattoo paraphenelia and pornography. They’re vowing to prosecute anyone caught bringing banned materials in the jail.
