Contraband Arrest At Detention Center

RAYMOND, MS (Ben Caxton) — Some prisoners in the Hinds County Detention Center will not be receiving their expected packages thanks to the Hinds County Sheriff’s Department. A transportation officer spotted throwing a bag over the security fence at the facility early Sunday morning. The bag containing contraband was apparently intended to be delivered to inmates inside the jail. Instead, Domonik Antione Bracey, 20, of Jackson has now delivered himself into custody at the facility. He was captured about half a mile from the prison after a brief foot chase.
