College Carjacking Suspect Aprehended In Iowa


CLINTON, MS (Ben Caxton) — The suspect accused of a carjacking at Mississippi College has been captured. U.S. Marshals in Iowa were able to locate Omar Bankhead and take him into custody. Clinton, Mississippi Police had identified Bankhead as a suspect in a Sunday, April 2, carjacking of a student in the parking garage at Mississippi College thanks to numerous tips through Crimestoppers and concerned citizens. Bankhead is also wanted for a late March San Antonio, Texas armed robbery.
