Coahoma Supervisors Face Election Challenges

COAHOMA COUNTY, MS (Ben Caxton) — Two Coahoma County supervisors will face challengers in the August Democratic primary election. Travis Haggan has filed to run against incumbent District 3 supervisor Darrell Washington, and Roosevelt Lee Jr. has filed to run for the District 5 seat now held by Will Young. Shirley Fair and Mary Frances Dear-Moton had previously filed to run against Young. The filing deadline for candidates is March 1st.
