Legendary Delta baseball coach Sank Powe has
died. He rose from the cotton fields to become the National Baseball
Coach of the Year in 1994 and the recipient of a number of other
honors for his work as a coach, mentor and inspiration to others.
Sank Powe was 70 years old.
