Cleveland Police Name "Officer Of The Year"

CLEVELAND, MS (Ben Caxton) — The Cleveland Police Department has chosen its “Officer of the Year.” Officer Rory Micou, a nine-year veteran of the department, was recognized by Cleveland Police Chief Buster Bingham for his focus on protecting and serving the community. Micou says he is committed to keeping the city of Cleveland a safe place to call home. Besides police work, his other passion is mentoring and encouraging teens to stay in school and become a productive person in their community. Various other first responders were also recognized at the ceremony that was sponsored by the Cleveland Exchange Club and held at the Cleveland Country Club.
