Cleveland Gearing Up For Mardi Gras Parade

Join the Mardis Gras parade in Cleveland on the 25th. If you can't samba, walking your dog is okay, too.

CLEVELAND (Angie Quezada) — The Cleveland-Bolivar County Chamber of Commerce will host a Mardi Gras Parade Feb. 25 at 5 p.m. in downtown Cleveland. To participate in the parade a person needs either a float, a golf cart, or they can walk their dog. Lisa Cooley, director of Team Cleveland-Main Street says the committee will vote on the King and Queen also. The “Royals” will be selected based on their float in the parade. Or, for being an awesome chamber volunteer. Graft is always helpful at Mardi Gras time. For more information about the parade call 662-843-2712.
