Clarksdale Police Make Arrest in Burglary Cases

CLARKSDALE, WI (Ben Caxton) — On Wednesday Clarksdale Police arrested 40-year old Danyelle Robinson. He is charged with residential burglary, auto burglary, and credit card fraud; more charges are expected. His arrest stems from two complaints, one filed last month regarding an auto burglary in the 100 block of West Second Street. The homeowners reported that credit cards were taken from their vehicle and Robinson made purchases with the stolen credit cards at several Clarksdale businesses. On October 5th police received a call from a homeowner who said his residence was burglarized while he slept where computers and additional credit cards were stolen. The suspect was captured on video surveillance and when Robinson was taken into custody he was attempting to use a credit card stolen from the residential burglary. Investigators executed a search warrant at Robinson’s apartment and found additional credit cards belonging to the victim. Robinson is currently on probation with the state department of corrections.
