Clarksdale Hospital Equipment Sold for $1.25M

CLARKSDALE, MS (Ben Caxton) — The Clarksdale Press-Register reports a settlement was reached in Nashville bankruptcy court last week; Community Health Systems will acquire all of the supplies and equipment at Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center from bankrupt Curae (cure-A) Health for $1.25 million and will continue to operate the hospital for another six months or so while Coahoma County officials try to find another buyer for the facility.
