Civic leader Roy Fulton dies at 89

Roy Fulton has died. He was well-known in his adopted hometown of Greenville as a businessman, competitive speedboat racer, former member of the Washington County Board of Supervisors and former boat store owner who was instrumental in the creation of Warfield Point Park. His family confirms that Fulton died on Friday from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease at the age of 89.
