City Says Clarksdale Police May Be Going to the Dogs

CLARKSDALE, MS (Ben Caxton) — The city of Clarksdale wants a K9 officer to serve as a drug sniffer and for search and rescue duty. This week the mayor and commissioners voted to seek a $50,000 grant from the Walton Foundation and would put up another $58,000 to pay for equipment, the dog and its handler, who would become Clarksdale’s 42nd police officer.

  2. Dog: I’ll Huff, and I’ll puff, and I’ll… hmmm – never mind, I’ll just lie on the grass and watch the clouds. Hey look – that cloud looks like Snoop Dog!
