City prepares for second round of tax forfeited property sales

94 parcels of tax-forfeited properties are up for bid, as part of a city-state effort. The city sold off 52 tax-forfeited properties for a total of about 35-thousand dollars in 2012, and is now looking to unload 94 properties that have an estimated value of 210-thousand dollars. Those who are interested in submitting a bid to the Secretary of State’s office for one of the properties must do so by 5pm today. Bids will be opened at 10am tomorrow in Jackson.
