An amnesty period inviting residents to clear up back fines or traffic tickets without further consequences has resulted in 104-thousand dollars for Greenville’s Municipal Court. The court cleared 334 warrants, down a little from the 377 warrants cleared last year, which netted 105-thousand dollars in back fines. There are currently 19 people in jail for unpaid fines. Officials said it was 51 at this time last year.
