City employees get new timecard system

The system keeping track of Greenville city employees work hours has been upgraded. City employees are now required to clock in and out on a computerized system. The electronic timekeeping system communicates with the payroll software systems. City officials said the new timekeeping method wasn’t a response to any abuse by employees – it was simply time to upgrade. The new system went into effect last week.
