Choctaw Man Found Guilty for Murder

(Jackson, MS)- Twenty-two-year-old Davian Wilson, a/k/a “Chaba”, of Choctaw, Mississippi, was found guilty of second-degree murder Thursday following a four-day trial in U.S. District Court. The murder occurred in the Pearl River community of the Choctaw Indian Reservation near Philadelphia, Mississippi. Wilson will be sentenced by U.S. District Judge Daniel Jordan on March 6, 2017, and faces a maximum sentence of life in prison and a $250,000 fine. Bell has pled guilty and is awaiting sentencing.
