Boomer Scott to be laid to rest today

Baseball Great George “Boomer” Scott is being remembered today at a funeral service at Mount Bethel Church in his native Greenville. Rick Cleveland is executive director at the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame, which inducted Scott in 2007.
