Cascio Street In Leland Is Going To The Dogs

LELAND, MS (Ben Caxton) — The City of Leland made a surprise donation Monday night to help stray animals in that city. During a special meeting of the council, Mayor Kenny Thomas announced the donation of a one-acre site on Cascio street to the Animal Relief and Rescue Foundation. ARRF has been active in the area since 2001. They plan to use the land to build a shelter to care for the animals they rescue from around the Washington County area.
