A total of eight candidates submitted applications for an opening on the Greenville Public School District Board of Trustees, which sets policy for the Greenville’s public schools. The candidates will interview before the City Council today, and then Councilors will vote for a finalist on February 19th. Mayor John Cox says he is glad a number of people representing a cross-section of the community were interested in serving in the position.
