Bond for Accused Girlfriend Killer Set at $250,000

GREENVILLE, MS (Ben Caxton) — Bond for 22-year-old Terrick Wright, accused of running over and killing his girlfriend during a Monday evening argument made an initial appearance in court Wednesday. Appearing before Judge Michael Prewitt bond was set at $250,000. Police say Wright was angry at not having been able to locate his girlfriend, 25-year-old Tymoneshia Parson, for a period of time Monday afternoon and when he caught up with her they got into an argument. He physically assaulted Parson and forced her into the van. She jumped out, was run over by the rear of the truck and later died from her injuries. Wright is charged with kidnapping and manslaughter. As of Wednesday evening Wright had not made bond and was still in police custody.
