Bomb Threats Continue At Milwaukee Tools Plant

GREENWOOD, MS (Ben Caxton) — Greenwood’s Milwaukee Tools Plant received three more bomb threats on Thursday. Two were phoned in directly to the plant, and another call went to the Greenwood Police Department. The plant was evacuated three times to search for explosives, none were found. Thursday’s threats brought the total to seven since September. Work at the plant was also stopped for bomb threats Tuesday, and Wednesday of this week. A reward of $1,000 is currently being offered for information leading to the arrest of anyone making the threats. Greenwood Mayor Carolyn McAdams says she’ll ask the city council to authorize adding $5,000 to the reward this week.
