Bomb Threat Locks Down Schools In Lawrence County

LAWRENCE COUNTY, MS (Ben Caxton) — Lawrence County High School was put on lockdown after a bomb threat was called in on Thursday. Sheriff Lessie Butler said the school got a call that someone was bringing a bomb to the school. The students were moved to safety after the bomb threat was received. Roads around the building were shut down as police brought in bomb-sniffing dogs to check for explosives.
