Bomb Threat at Monroe County Detention Center

(Aberdeen, MS) — The perimeter was cleared inside and two bomb dogs sniffed their way through the facility after four bomb threats were called in to the Monroe County Detention Center Monday afternoon. According to authorities, the calls were made from a prepaid telephone and investigators are trying to track down the source. They do know that the calls came from right there in Aberdeen, not far from the jail.
