Biking And Walking Trail Coming To Greenville Levee

GREENVILLE, MS (Ben Caxton) — Work could begin next month on a recreational trail along the levee at Lake Ferguson in Greenville. The biking and walking trail will be 1.7 miles long and with signs about local history. It is expected to open by the end of this year. An $800,000 state grant will pay most of the work with the City of Greenville kicking in an additional $200,000 from city coffers.
