Azar’s New Album Includes a Documentary

THE DELTA (Ben Caxton) — The latest album from Mississippi native Steve Azar is accompanied by a feature-length documentary. “Something in the Water” captures the process of recording the album “Down at the Liquor Store”, which was completed over five days inside Indianola’s legendary Club Ebony with musicians who played alongside B.B. King, Elvis, and others. Azar says sounds of the Delta made their way into the music too and it was recorded using vintage equipment. “Something in the Water” is featured on the subscription service Stingray-Quello.
