Arrests Made in Mississippi School Threats

OXFORD, MS (Ben Caxton) — Arrests have been made after threats against several schools in North Mississippi circulated on social media last week. A Facebook message warned of shootings at schools in Oxford and Pontotoc. Two juveniles were identified and arrested in connection with the threats. The suspect’s names have not been released, and neither are students in the Oxford district.
