GREENVILLE, MS (Ben Caxton) — Police have arrested a man in connection with one of Wednesday’s fatal shooting in Greenville. 23-year-old Geor’barri Wells is behind bars this Friday charged with murder, attempted murder, and aggravated assault. The shooting in the 200 block of Walnut Street around 3:00 AM in Greenville left one 24-year-old man dead, and a 31-year-old woman and injured. The man was found lying in the street when police arrived and was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman was taken to the hospital, treated, and released. A 32-year-old man died at the scene, and another victim was taken to Delta Regional Medical Center for stabilization and then airlifted to the University of Mississippi Medical Center for further treatment.
