Arkansas Wants Smokers to Pay for Tax Cuts

LITTLE ROCK, AR (Ben Caxton) — A group of Arkansas legislators say they want smokers to pay for tax cuts for low and middle-income residents in the state. The $100 million plan would raise taxes on cigarettes, e-cigarettes, and vaping devices and will be presented to a legislative committee next week.
