Arkansas Governor’s Son Arrested for Dwi

ROGERS, AR (Ben Caxton) — The son of Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson has been arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Rogers Arkansas Police say 43-year-old William Asa Hutchinson III was taken into custody at a traffic stop Saturday morning. He was taken to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office and held there until he was sober. Hutchinson is already facing a September trial on charges of suspicion of DWI, violation of the implied consent law and speeding. He was also arrested in May 2016 at a music festival in Alabama on charges of possession of a controlled substance. Records indicate he was given a pretrial diversion in that case.

  1. He must don’t supposed to get Arrested

  2. A few more runs at that brick wall, & he might actually crash. Alabama has out of state pretrial diversion?

  3. Pretrial diversion is a joke!! It’s NEVER followed up on and is given to “select” offenders! He received less than a slap on his wrist by being put in pretrial diversion!
