Another Sentenced In 2015 Greenville Killings

GREENVILLE, MS (Ben Caxton) — Sentences have been handed down in three killings that took place within three days of each other two years ago in Greenville. 33-year-old Nacardis Williams pleaded guilty Monday to second-degree murder in the death of 20-year-old Nicholas Smith. He died after being shot multiple times at a convenience store on April 25, 2015. Williams was sentenced to 25 years in prison. Three days earlier Kenneth Howard and Michael Smith were shot to death. 24-year-old Marquel Magnum pleaded guilty last week to second-degree murder in the killing of Howard and received a 40-year prison sentence. Last July, 23-year-old Kadarius Jackson was sentenced to 35 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to killing Michael Smith.
