Another Politician Mulls Run for Governor

JACKSON, MS (Ben Caxton) — State Representative Robert Foster says is considering a run for Governor next year. The Desoto County Republican has been in the legislature for three years and owns a Christmas tree farm south of Hernando; Attorney General Jim Hood has already announced his candidacy for Governor and Lt. Governor Tate Reeves is expected to announce as well. Governor Phil Bryant has said that anyone planning to run for the office needs to take time off from their job to travel across the state and have a $5-7 million campaign fund.
