Another Jaded Old Miss Player Leaving

Chicot Memorial

OXFORD, MS (Ben Caxton) — Another Ole Miss player is planning to transfer. Linebacker Breon Dixon’s announcement that he’s going to Nebraska comes as no surprise as he previously stated that he felt that he had been misled regarding the NCAA’s investigation into the Ole Miss program. Dixon arrived in Oxford in 2016 but changes since then include coach Hugh Freeze’s departure, the 2017 bowl ban and further penalties announced by the NCAA in December including a 2018 bowl ban, although the university is appealing that decision.
