Another High Scool Football Player Collapses and Dies

TUPELO, MS (Ben Caxton) — Another Mississippi high school football player has died after collapsing during a game. 15-year-old William Anderson of Houston was pronounced dead at a Tupelo hospital after he complained of severe chest pain during a junior varsity game Monday night. Anderson was diagnosed with high blood pressure but was controlling the condition with his diet. Last month 16-year old Dennis Mitchell collapsed on the sidelines during the Byhalia-Coahoma County game. He later died at a Clarksdale hospital.
