Alderman Sentenced to Prison for Child Pornography

SOUTHAVEN, MS (Ben Caxton) — A former Southaven alderman has been sentenced to more than 7 years on child pornography charges. Ronnie Hale will begin serving his 85-month sentence next month. A former Memphis firefighter, Hale pleaded guilty earlier this year to one count of transporting child pornography across state lines. He was indicted last December after the material was found on his laptop computer.
