Accused Tunica Murderer Facing Second Trial Soon

TUNICA, MS (Ben Caxton) — Quinton Tellis could face a second trial for the murder of Jessica Chambers. Tellis first trial ended with a hung jury and now District Attorney John Champion is looking at a date in June. Tellis was originally tried for capital murder but will be tried on a lesser charge in the second trial. Tellis is currently in custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
